1. Fill out the form below to check if I am available to officiate your wedding ceremony or not already booked. Alternatively, you can call or text 626-217-2504 or email, [email protected] 2. Make an appointment with me (if the date is available). We will then discuss your thoughts, ideas and plans for your ceremony. The meeting can be by phone or Zoom. This also gives us an opportunity to meet and get to know each other. Don't worry if you don't know what to do, I will help you create an unforgettable "Treasured Ceremony." This is my specialty.
Your wedding ceremony can be as simple or as creative as you like (short or long it’s up to you.) Plus, it can be bilingual (Spanish & English). Your ceremony can include as many or as little of the cultural, traditional, religious, and family customs that you desire.
3. Reserve your date with me. If you have confirmed the date, discussed your ceremony, feel good about me officiating your wedding and have enjoyed the process, make a non-refundable $250 deposit. The balance of $250 is due no later than on the day of the wedding. The total cost to meet with you, discuss, plan and officiate your wedding is $500 which includes signing the wedding license after the ceremony and filing it back to the county clerk's office. See the Rates page to see what else is included. Twenty four to forty eight hours after the deposit is made, I will send you a custom wedding ceremony outline, for you to review & approve, based on our discussion. All details will be in the outline including the order of the procession, the three wedding ceremony songs, etc. You will know exactly what will be taking place throughout the entire wedding ceremony. Last minute changes and updates are welcome.
Things to think about:
Decide if you will be having a wedding rehearsal. Choose your wedding party and decide how you want them to walk in; by couples, one by one, by height, by gender, etc. If you make a reservation with me I will send you my Wedding Rehearsal Tip Sheet that will show step by step how to facilitate a sensational wedding rehearsal in 60 minutes.
Decide if you will be writing your own vows or prefer the traditional "Repeat after Me" vows. If you make a reservation with me and you will be writing your own vows I will send you my, “10 Steps to Writing Your Own Personal Wedding Vows.” It will have your spouse and everyone spellbound, even if you are not a good writer at all.
Decide on the wedding ceremony components that you want to include in your ceremony. If you have no idea, that's okay, I will show you several options. For example besides the wedding vows and ring exchange, you may want to include a unity candle, sand ceremony, rose exchange, hands ceremony, special poems or bible readings, special songs, special family recognition, etc. Don't worry I will help you each step of the way.
Decide when you will obtain a wedding license. You will need to schedule an appointment with your local County Clerk's Office. Both the bride and groom will need to be present, with unexpired photo ID. A wedding license is only good for 90 days, so make sure to plan accordingly.
