Hello, I'm Nick I. Gonzalez, the presiding minister and creator of Treasured Ceremonies. I thoroughly enjoy helping couples create beautiful and memorable, "Treasured Ceremonies."
I specialize in designing memorable bilingual Spanish & English wedding ceremonies for couples all over Southern California.
Whether you're planning a private or public wedding, I can help you take the hassle and stress out of planning your wedding ceremony so that you can focus on the rest of the celebration.
I am happily married to my wife, Marisol who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2017. We have been married for 34 wonderful years and have been blessed with four wonderful children, and three grandchildren all born in 2023. We live in Covina, California.
As a minister of the Gospel, I don't just perform weddings; I accept the invitation to preside at wedding ceremonies that I believe are of God. A wedding ceremony is a spiritual act of worship.
Weddings are also happy occasions that should celebrate, with lots of creativity, the ultimate commitment of a man and woman; marriage. I believe a bride and groom should gather in the sight of God and their friends and family to celebrate and ask for God's blessing.
That does not mean my wedding ceremonies are long, monotonous, and redundant. Not at all; it simply means that there is an acknowledgment of God: the designer of marriage, and a time of prayer & thanksgiving during the ceremony. I like to think of marriage not just as a beautiful duet but more like a "Holy Trio" made up of a man, a woman, and God whom they serve.
My goal is to officiate a wedding ceremony that captivates not only the bride and groom but also the guests while incorporating several meaningful traditional and modern customs with a unique and personalized touch from the couple.
By the way, most of the wedding ceremonies I officiate are 30 to 60 minutes long. It all depends on the desired style and atmosphere envisioned by the bride and groom for their wedding ceremony.
